Reka Komoli is an Oxford-based professional freelance photographer.
Reka is a member of the Royal Photographic Society and the Oxford Photographic Society. She was awarded her MA in Photographic Studies at the University of Westminster, London, in 2016, and is now in the final year of her PhD in Photography at Westminster. Her doctoral research project examines the scarred landscape of post-communist Hungary.
She has exhibited at galleries in London and Wivenhoe, and internationally in cities including New York, Budapest, Vilnius, and St Petersburg. Her publications include a book and calendars based around her photographs.
She is currently concentrating on the wildlife of the British Isles, combining her passions for nature and photography. Among her latest trips was a rewarding exploration of sites in the Scottish countryside, recording the rich variety of animals and birds in the Highlands and Lowlands. She is a devoted Nikon user, currently photographing with a Nikon D850 full-frame camera.
Alongside her continuing projects in wildlife photography, she also undertakes commercial photographic work: portraits (of both people and pets), event photography, and photographs of historical urban sites.
